Hi there! I’m Chinenye Alutu, a Washington D.C. based mom, family photographer, data analyst and digital creator with a deep love for meaningful storytelling and an unshakeable belief that the best version of life is still being written. My Story
So far
Fueled by a lifelong love for meaningful data and purposeful storytelling, my journey began with a BSc in Economics and an MBA — building a foundation that taught me to see the world through the lens of numbers, strategy and human behavior. Over the years I have worked with organizations and businesses as a data analyst, helping them make sense of their numbers and turn raw information into meaningful decisions. But somewhere between the boardrooms and the spreadsheets, I discovered that the most powerful story I could tell was my own.
Motherhood changed everything. It awakened a creativity in me I never knew existed and introduced me to passions I never anticipated. One of those was photography. When I became a mom I found myself desperately wanting to freeze every tiny moment — the first smile, the sleepy newborn yawns, the way little hands curl around your finger. So I picked up a camera, fell in love with the process and never looked back. Today as a Washington D.C. based newborn and family photographer, I have the profound privilege of doing for other families what I wished someone had done for mine from the very beginning — freezing time, one frame at a time.”
